Announcement of the election of a candidate for Rector of the University of Prešov
I.
The University of Prešov, pursuant to Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts, as amended, and the Principles for the Election of a Candidate for Rector and Acceptance of the Proposal for Removal of the Rector of the University of Presov announces the election of a candidate for Rector for the term of office from 1.8.2023 to 31.7.2027.
II.
The University of Prešov determines the deadline for submitting proposals for candidates for the rector of the University of Prešov from 1.7.2022 to 4.10.2022.
Proposals should be delivered to the President of the Senate at the following address: the University of Prešov, President of the Academic Senate of the University of Prešov, ul. novembra 17, No. 15, 080 01 Prešov, SR by post or through the university registry until 4.10.2022 at 12:00 clearly marked "Election of a candidate for the rector"
III.
The University of Prešov in Prešov announces that the election assembly, will take place on 24.10.2022.
IV.
An indispensable part of the Rector-designate proposal is:
- Personal data including contact details (name, surname, title and scientific rank, age, address for delivery of documents, email, telephone number)
- Structured curriculum vitae of the candidate
- Draft of the University Development Strategy
- Consent to the candidacy :
"By my signature, I confirm that I agree with my candidacy for Rector of the University of Prešov for the term of office from 1.8.2023 to 31.7.2027. At the same time, I agree with the publication of my curriculum vitae and programme theses."
- Criminal record extract not older than 3 months
If one of the elements of the proposal is not documented, the proposal will not be accepted.
