Recognition of completed foreign education on pursuit of non-regulated profession in the Slovak Republic

The principle of non-regulated profession is based on the fact that the qualification requirements for the pursuit of such profession do not exist or are too general. For that reason, there is no option of comparing the attained education and training with the requirements in the Slovak Republic, and recognition is not necessary.

According to paragraph 60 of the Act No. 422/2016 Coll. on recognition of qualifications and recognition of professional qualifications the evaluation of attained level of education (or level of education and study field) is possible in the process of academic recognition (paragraph 33 through 39 of the Act).
