The Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic advertises scholarships for accredited study programs at public universities for the academic year 2010/2011. These scholarships are designed for applicants meeting required general criteria and criteria related to selected type of study stay.

• 17 places for students for semestral/ 5 - months study stay
• 9 places for graduates for semestral/5 - months study stay
• 3 places for 3-months academic stay

General Information
In order to be awarded scholarship for one of the above mentioned types of study, the applicant meeting the general conditions will send completed form of the Application for provision of a scholarship of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic together with required documents directly to:

Deadline
within deadline of 31. May 2010. The delivery date to the Slovak Republic is decisive. Incomplete materials and applications delivered after this deadline will not be considered. Decision on award of the scholarship of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic Decision of award /refusal of the scholarship of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic will be announced in writing to contact address indicated in applicant's application by 31. August 2010. It will be also announced electronically at www.studyin.sk.

The scholarship of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic is designed to support academic mobility, its amount covers expenditures related to stay in the Slovak RepublicThe Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic provides to scholarship holders university study free of charge.

If interested, the scholarship holders can participate on preliminary Slovak language courses lasting for 10 months on their own costs.
