     Many universities organize Slovak language courses for international students. Students can get necessary information on these opportunities at the foreign study department of the particular university and at the Institute for Language and Academic Preparation for Foreign Students of the Comenius University in Bratislava. 

     It is the only institute in the country preparing foreign students for the study of every type of higher education institution in the Slovak Republic. It provides students that wish to study at a Slovak university the teaching of Slovak language and certain profile subjects.
