In the program period of 2004-2006, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic acted as mediator for the sector Operation Program of Human Resources (hereinafter referred to as "SOP ¼Z") and the Unified program document NUTS II - Bratislava Target 3 (hereinafter referred to as JPD BA Target 3) and had responsibility for the payment unit. The managing body for the SOP ¼Z and JPD BA Target 3 in the program period of 2004-2006 is the Ministry of Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic. The SOP ¼Z and JPD BA Target 3 are co-financed with the European Social Fund.
In the program period of 2007-2013, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic will act as the manager for the Operational Program of Education and as the payment unit. The mediator under the managerial entity for the Operational Program of Education is the Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic for the EU structural funds and the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic. The Operational Program of Education is co-financed with the European Social Fund.
In the program period of 2007-2013 the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic will act also as manager for the Operational Program of Research and Development and as the payment unit.
The mediator under the managerial entity for the Operational Program of Research and Development is the Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic for the EU structural funds. The Operational Program of Research and Development is co-financed with the European Fund of Regional Development.
